The release of the powerful class X solar flare has generated a strong magnetic storm that has hit Earth, Russian experts report.

Specialists from the Sun X-ray Astronomy Laboratory of the Institute of Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences have detected a new class X solar flare, reports RIA Novosti. This occurs shortly after the biggest blaze launched by the Sun in the last decade, whose intensity was X9.3 and caused a worsening of communications systems in the territories of Europe and America.
The strong magnetic storm unleashed on Earth after recent solar flares have already reached level 4 of a maximum of 5, according to Russian experts.
The last flare was class X1.3 and was released Thursday between 14:20 and 14:55 GMT, according to the TASS agency. RIA Novosti, meanwhile, points out that its maximum activity was recorded this Friday at 8:00 GMT.
The Russian laboratory recorded the beginning of a series of solar flares on September 4. Since then, according to their data, five medium-sized M-class flares have taken place and on day 6 a class X2.2 has been detected, followed by the most powerful of the last 12 years.
